Erin Chung is the founder of Women For Progress. Erin was raised in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Communications.
In 2002, she moved to New York City where she worked as a Publicist for Golf Digest magazine and later the Miss Universe Organization. Erin served on the Board of the Wyckoff Newcomers & Neighbors club in various roles including Vice President from 2012-2015.
Erin and her husband Tom met while fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of NYC, (on behalf of “Team in Training”). In 2010, the couple moved to northern New Jersey where they now reside with their three children.
“I founded Women for Progress with the hope of bringing together women from around the world to promote progressive causes, particularly those which may find their resources and support threatened after the 2016 election.”
