Erin Cristman

Erin grew up very close to her cousin, Callie, who was born with a mental disability. Callie participated year after year in the Special Olympics. Erin loved watching Callie find success during her track and field events. Because of Callie, Erin knew at a young age that she wants to teach special education. ErinĀ attended Wittenberg University, a small liberal arts school in Ohio, and was thrilled to be able to get a job teaching some of the most incredible students.

While attending Wittenberg, Erin met her husbant Stefan. They have been married forĀ 9 years and have been blessed with three children. After her eldest was born, Erin left teaching and became a stay at home mom.

Erin continues to be passionate about education and literacy. Last year Erin began a projectĀ called Sweet Dreams and Stories which provides a new age appropriate book and a new pair of pajamas to over 200 children in need to promote early literacy.Ā Erin partnered with Oasis in Paterson, NJ. Oasis is doing incredible things for the 600 women and children they serve daily! Their mission is to “Change the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty through compassionate programs designed to feed, clothe, educate and empower women and children in need.” It is an amazing place.

ErinĀ is also a trustee for the Wyckoff Education Foundation, whose mission is to enhance the quality of the public school system.
