Lauren Kavanagh is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Chair of Gun Violence Prevention committee for WFP. Lauren is an attorney, author, wife, mother and active volunteer. A native of northern New Jersey, her interest in individual and group rights was instilled by growing up with people from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. In law school, Lauren served on the board of her school’s Public Interest Network, a group dedicated to helping law students engage in public interest issues. She joined WFP to help raise awareness for progressive issues and assist others who want to participate in the political process.
